Welcome to Core Post. Make yourself at home in our spacious Post Production Facility situated just across the road from MediaCityUK in Salford. Our relaxed atmosphere and welcoming surroundings provide a perfect location for all aspects of Post Production. Our aim is to always provide you with the best tools and talent to ensure your project is finished to the highest possible standard and within your budget.
Our Offline editing facility consists of 19 Offline suites and can be scaled to handle any size of project. All suites run Avid Media Composer and are connected via Avid Nexis storage. The suites are all light and airy and have windows so you can keep an eye on the amazing Salford weather.
2 Avid Symphony suites with advanced colour correction, Boris Continuum effects and filters, and Adobe Creative Suite.
From set to screen, our experienced colourist works with you to develop the perfect look for your production. With a spacious client-friendly DaVinci grading suite, featuring the Resolve Advanced Panel and utilising the latest hardware Powered by Scan 3XS, we can provide the highest quality HD and 4K HDR picture finishing. The suite runs the latest Dolby Vision tone mapping software to allow an efficient conversion to SDR.
DaVinci Resolve or Avid Symphony are available, so there is a grade solution to fit every budget and project type.
Dub 1 is our Dolby Atmos theatre and Dub 2 is 5.1, both are equipped with Avid 32 fader D-Control surfaces, whilst Dub 3 is a smaller prep/mix room, tracklay rooms are also available. We have a large ADR (solo and group) studio and we can offer location ADR and Remote Voice Over via ISDN or Source Connect.

Managing Director and Senior Online Editor
Matt is one of the co-owners of Core. His extensive cv is primarily filled with high end online and grade work for all genres, and also includes offline editing on drama, documentary and music promos. Having regular experience of taking a programme from its first stages to its last, Matt is well equipped in dealing with any edit issues that arise.

Technical Director and Senior Dubbing Mixer
Tony is one of the co-owners of Core and has over 30 years in the industry, he has a wealth of experience across all types of programme. Tony won an RTS North West award for Best Post Production (craft) for the sound on Young Dracula (CBBC) and has been the major driving force in nurturing some of the best dubbing talent across Media City.

Kate has over 25 years of experience working in Finance, almost 20 of them in Post Production. As one of the co-owners, Kate deals with all matters for the Company, including general finance, and is involved in all projects from the initial quoting process to keeping our clients up to date with their costs as each job progresses.
Lucy is tasked with the day to day management of the facility and is responsible for guiding each project through its post production process. From taking the initial booking, to delivering the final master, Lucy will ensure your project has the personal attention it deserves.
Post Production Co-ordinator
Sarah is the first person you will meet when you enter the facility and looks after our clients during their time at Core, managing all general requests that come through reception.
She is key to looking after the day to day running of the facility and strives to provide the best client experience, whilst supporting the rest of the Core team.
Having worked in the industry for nine years prior to joining Core, she is fully conversant in all aspects of Post Production.
Emily was the Winner of the Conch Award for Best Newcomer in 2009 and since then has continued to develop her skills across different aspects of Audio Post Production. With her increasing experience across all genres, Emily has flourished and is now one of Media City’s stand out Dubbing Mixers.

Craig co-ordinates all projects in a technical capacity and manages the safe handling and back up of all rushes. He liaises closely with clients at the production stage to ensure the best possible workflow is devised and then executed, and is also on hand for troubleshooting along the way.
Oli is the newest member of the Core team. He completed a degree in Music Production before joining us and is now integral to the smooth running of the facility. His role includes assisting the edits and being on hand for all client needs.
